The receptionist is a customer service specialist that is typically the first touch point for customers.  They are expected to provide excellent customer service experience for all residents, guests, and other customers.

 This position is under the direct supervision of the Community CEO/Business Office Director if applicable. The individual in this position is responsible for coordinating resident appointments, answering phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel, depositing mail in resident mailboxes, arranging for transportation and assisting the business office when necessary.  The individual needs to keep the front lobby clean and public bathroom with appropriate supplies. The Community CEO/Business Office Director will train the receptionist in areas that affect Human Resources, Payroll, Mail, Employee Services and compliance. Marketing Director will train in areas relating to marketing material and phone etiquette.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • One-year experience in an office environment with multi-line phone system, general office machines
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to reach and write English
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and outside of job description as needed.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, be detailed oriented, effective at problem solving and follow-up.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication and people skills.
  • A strong work ethic, professional presence, reputation for integrity and high ethical standards, and collaborative spirit
